Maggie Blue O’Hara

Global Speaker, Author & Cultural Leader in

Presence, Power & Pleasure

Maggie Blue O’Hara is a globally recognized speaker, author, facilitator, and creative director devoted to advancing embodied presence, relational intelligence, and human flourishing in modern life.

With a career spanning film, television, theatre, voice acting, education, and embodiment-based leadership, Maggie bridges performance mastery with deep somatic intelligence—supporting individuals, organizations, and communities to lead, relate, and live with authenticity, resilience, and vitality.

Her work integrates art, science, spirituality, and lived experience, offering a refined, experiential approach to leadership, intimacy, creativity, and wellbeing.

A Life Devoted to Presence

Originally from Victoria, British Columbia, Maggie began her professional career in the performing arts at a young age, working extensively in the North American film and television industry.

Her credits include lead and guest roles on major series such as CBC’s Northwood, The X-Files, Cold Squad, The L Word, and Talking to Heaven, alongside an internationally recognized career in voice acting, including iconic roles in Dragonball Z, X-Men Evolution, My Little Pony, Inuyasha, Gundam Wing, and Netflix’s NinjaGo.

This early immersion in performance shaped Maggie’s lifelong inquiry into presence, expression, voice, and the nervous system—how humans connect, communicate, and feel each other beyond words.

Creator, Director & Cultural Architect

In 1999, Maggie won Best Picture at the Reel Fast Film Festival for her original short film Dark Light, marking the beginning of her work as a creator and director.

That same year, she co-created INTENTION, a week-long New Year’s community celebration rooted in art, ritual, and collective renewal—now celebrating over 25 years as a cultural institution in British Columbia.

As an original contributor to the early conscious dance and neo-tribal movement, Maggie helped shape immersive cultural experiences across Canada and the United States, collaborating with artists, dancers, DJs, and healers long before “embodiment” became mainstream.

International Theatre, Education & Leadership

From 2005–2015, Maggie lived in Hong Kong, where she co-founded a multimedia theatre company and spent a decade writing, directing, choreographing, and touring 30 original productions across Asia, Europe, and Oceania.

Her work during this period blended:

  • contemporary dance theatre
  • mask, movement, voice & puppetry
  • bilingual performance & education

She has taught and performed internationally in Canada, China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Thailand, Bali, Singapore, Korea, the UK, New Zealand, and Australia, and has collaborated with master artists including Shaolin monks, Balinese dance masters, and Grammy-nominated voice coaches.

Maggie has also worked with elite institutions and global brands, including Disney Hong Kong, Cirque du Soleil, KRUG Champagne, Kadoorie Botanical Farm and Gardens, Patravadi Theatre in Bangkok, HK Youth Arts Foundation, and international film academies.

Sensual Intelligence & The Wild Devotional Way

Out of decades of professional mastery and personal transformation, Maggie developed her signature philosophy and body of work.

She is the author of Sensual Intelligence, a memoir and guidebook exploring presence, pleasure, emotional regulation, and relational intelligence as essential human capacities—especially in leadership, creativity, and intimacy.

She is also the creator of The Wild Devotional Way, an original methodology that integrates:

  • somatic and nervous-system awareness
  • breath, voice, sound & movement
  • ritual, devotion & creative expression
  • conscious intimacy and relational repair

This work is offered through keynote speaking, workshops, private mentorship, couples sessions, and immersive retreats.
